Time to update the blog again! I want to start off on the most exciting event of the past several weeks--- I have officially won a digi contest that was not associated with random chance! Ha ha. Seriously, though. I was in complete shock when I saw the news on the DIGI DARE blog. The dare was to scrap a "first" of something... I chose to scrap my first miracle, which I definitely consider Noah's speedy recovery after being so sick at birth. If you're curious about the journaling (and I'm sure you are!!) you can read it here.

Documenting our crazy move of apartments last summer.

MOVING DAY

You Make Me Smile

this is for a fun blog challenge at TLP. All these items can be purchased at a ridiculously low price. I just love the fun ribbon flowers by Natalie Braxton and Nancy Comelab's gorgeous textured papers.

The only scanned photo I have of my wedding day. I wanted to do something funky with it-- not the traditional wedding LO!

Forever

I would consider this fun kit to be my favorite of Dani's. Kira loves numbers and I had to make a LO of it!
Number Madness

The 2 of Us

This was for another digi-dare (that of course I did not win!) but the dare was to scrap about a misconception others have of you. Again, if you care, here's the journaling..
Lucky

This was really fun because I was playing with blending modes in PSE. Thanks to Emily Merritt for the inspiration!
Love Books

Can you believe it took me a year after Noah's birth to finally buy him a genuine "boy toy?!?" He's gonna be scarred for life!

First Boy Toy

Blessing

This was taken just a few weeks after Noah came home from the hospital.

Miracle

When we went to Atlanta last September, my sister had these Disney princess shoes for Kira to play with. It took her a while to warm up to them, but by the end, she was an ol' pro!
Princess Shoes

This was probably a religious experience for Mike... Noah playing with the basketball for the first time!

Basketball Encounter

You R My Sunshine

And that's a wrap! The only thing of note is that my run as a guest on Two Sisters Designs is now over! :( I'm so sad to no longer be on the team, but thoroughly enjoyed my time there. If you're curious about any of the items on my LO's, you can check out the credits here.
